Summer Crafts with Kiwi Crate

We’ve made our summer bucket list, the chore chart is ready and school if finally out…bring on summer!  I”m really looking forward to a more relaxed schedule and getting to soak up some summer fun with my kids.  But, even with careful planning and a carefree attitude you can guarantee at some point over the next 11 weeks of summer break I’ll hear those famous words “I’m bored!”

Summer Boredom Buster with Kiwi Crate

Thankfully I’m prepared with the award-winning, monthly subscription service from Kiwi Crate.  A few years ago when the kids were younger we tried out the monthly subscription service and loved it!  My daughter still has the paper dolls she made, she won’t let me get rid of them.  This summer, Kiwi Crate will be launching their annual Summer Adventure Series where for the months of June-August, their monthly crate themes will center around summer projects for kids and families!

Kiwi Crate Farm Fun

This month’s box arrived and was a Farm Fun themed crate with two creative projects to keep my twins entertained. The kit contained Barnyard Friends to create a set of farm animal finger puppets and a Farm Plot to plant and grow your own crops!  What I absolutely love about the crates is that the directions are easy to follow and include colorful pictures that help my beginning readers.

My son loves helping his daddy in the garden and was so excited to get to grow his very own garden.

And my sweet little mini-me had so much fun putting together her barnyard friends.  She is quite the character and put on one heck of a puppet show with her new puppets she named Henry the Horse and Moo Cow!

I am so excited about getting our Summer Adventure Series and can’t wait to get our Beach and Amusement Park themed crates.  Don’t those sound super fun? My twins definitely had a blast with their Kiwi Crate and the two projects kept the summer boredom blues away!

You too can stop the “Mom, I’m bored” phrase dead in it’s tracks this summer with Kiwi Crate.  Use the coupon code, SUMMER25 for 25% off the first month of service between May 26 and June 30.  And be sure you visit Kiwi Crate’s Summer Adventure Series to see what fun you and your kids can have this summer!
