One of my favorite spots in our house is the giant shiplap wall in my living room. It was one of the first major DIY home improvement projects my husband and I tackled when we bought our new house, and this 20 foot wall makes a big impact. It’s also one of my favorite places to decorate during the holidays. I love being able to change out my holiday decor above the fireplace and brighten things up with simple and easy decor. I recently teamed up with my friends at Oriental Trading to show you how to create your own Lucky St. Patrick’s Day Mantel Decor.
One of my favorite parts of decorating for the holidays is being able to create my own unique decorations that fit my personality and style. Crafting for me is like a form of therapy and I love being able to step back and see the finished results. And I love it even more when I can inspire others to turn something ordinary into something extraordinary. Decorating your home, or setting up for a special holiday party, doesn’t have to be complicated, expensive or perfect.
