White Hot Chocolate with Caramel & Toffee

This post is sponsored by West Elm.  All content and opinions are always 100% my own.

I have a love/hate relationship with the approaching winter months.  While I hate saying goodbye to the longer days and crunchy leaves, I LOVE the coziness of winter.  There’s just something about snuggling up under a warm blanket with the comfiest of clothes and a hot drink.  Mmmm.

When I was asked to be part of West Elm’s “Gather Around the Table” campaign, they asked us to reminisce about some of our favorite traditions growing up.  The first thing to pop into my mind: hot chocolate (is it bad that most of my favorite memories revolve around food?  Hmm…)  I remember coming in from playing outside in the snow and my mom would have hot chocolate ready for us (the more marshmallows the better!)  It’s those little things that I’m excited to do with Isaac – once he gets older of course.  I can’t wait to start new traditions for our little family!

I ordered the cutest enamel mugs from West Elm Market, which are perfect to hold my new favorite recipe – white hot chocolate with caramel and toffee.

Um – yum!  My husband’s face lit up when he taste-tested this recipe for me.  This is SO GOOD!  Now you’re more than welcome to make this for yourself & your family, but how fun would it be to give these mugs as a gift with ingredients for this recipe?  Now THAT would be a memorable gift!

So this recipe?  If you love sweets, you need to go make this.  Immediately.  Fuzzy blanket, PJ pants and a movie are recommended but not required Winking smile
